HKC completed the satellite city infrastructure for the Yangpu Economic Development Zone in 1998 and its water plant in Yangpu is now playing a key role in the ensuing rapid development in Hainan.

HKC's total investment in the water treatment plant is RMB117.8 million. HKC will operate the plant until 2024. The plant has an optimum capacity to treat 250,000 tonnes of water per day, with a total maximum capacity of 300,000 tonnes.

The Guilin tollroad, one of the most scenic roads in China, was completed in February of 2008. The road is part of the cross border state highway between Ning Chuan and San Tang via Guilin municipality. The total length of the expressway is approximately 40.6 kilometers. HKC will operate the tollroad for 29 years.
